The Kansas Law Enforcement CIT Council is proud to present

      ADVANCED Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training

                           August 5-6, 2010

The training is designed for law enforcement officers and dispatchers who
have previously completed the Basic (40 hour) CIT Training Class.

8:00AM - 8:30AM        Registration
8:30AM - 4:30PM        Class Coursework

Agenda Friday, August 6, 2010:
8:30AM - 4:45PM        Class Coursework

Course work offered during this class:

  • Suicide Assessment and Prevention
  • PTSD and Veterans
  • Mental Illness Trends in Youth
  • Substance Abuse Trends in Youth
  • Updates on mental health services and resources

Prerequisite:
Basic (40 hour) CIT Training Class Certification

The training is space is limited and the deadline for registration is July 15, 2010.
This class is provided at NO CHARGE and includes catered lunch both days of
training.
